    Hollywood Christmas Parade 1996
Born on October 9, 1981 blue eyed, blonded haird Zachery Ty Bryan began his acting career by doing commercials and print ads in his hometown of Denver, CO. His early career was based in New York, to which he would fly from Colorado as required. Zach's first national commercial appeared on TV when he was 5 (he has done commercials for Burger King, Coldwell Banker and Ralph Lauren). In 1991, Zach went to California to do check out the casting scene, and got his first series role as Brad Taylor in Home Improvement. Zach appeared in "Crash: The Mystery of Flight 1501" with Cheryl Ladd, and more recently, Zach played the lead role of Cody in "Bigfoot: The Unforgettable Encounter" by Republic Pictures (available on video) and another lead part playing Jack in "Magic Island" by Paramount Pictures (filmed in Ixtapa, Mexico - now available on video). Talk about Hollywood "cutting room floor", Zach's entire role as Bryan Bozworth's son in "Stone Cold" was cut from the movie.

He has made guest appearances in ABC's "Thunder Alley", "Fresh Prince", on "Gladitors 2000" and following his sporting interests has been on CBS' "Circus of the Stars" in 1993 and 1994. He made an appearance on "Busch Gardens - Sea World Party for the Planet" in 1995; and most recently on "Earth Day at Walt Disney World". Filmed in the summer of 1995, Zach plays Rob, a boy who gets the "pleasure" of bullying up the President's son in a movie called "First Kid" which also stars Sinbad, released to theatres in August 1996. Zach also starred in "True Heart" a movie about two kids who survive a plane crash and are helped by Native Indians. Zach's character is named Sam and also stars Kirsten Dunst; it was filmed in the summer of 1996 in Vancouver, BC Canada. Zach has also done an anti-drug public service announcement for ABC. His latest project is a TV movied called "Principal For a Day"

    Kids Who Care Fair
Zach makes many personal appearances, including a large number as grand marshal of parades across the country. In addition, he has appeared on "Good Morning America", "Entertainment Tonight", "Live With Regis & Kathie Lee", "America's Funniest People", "The Leeza Show", "John and Leeza", "Dini Petty Show", "Carol and Marilyn" and "Live in LA". He has been a presenter on the "Kid's Choice Awards" and made an appearance on the preview show for ABC's 1995 Fall Saturday morning lineup.

Charity work features very high on Zach's priority list, he want's to use his celebrity status to help out wherever he can. He has worked on behalf of children's AIDS, children's cancer, underprivileged kids and the Starlight Foundation for terminally ill children. He has also been recently involved with Kids Save the Animals and joined NFL quarterbacks in hosting Kids for Kelly, an event to raise money for disadvantaged kids. Zach will also be doing a charity event for the "Jimmy Fund" which benefits childhood cancer patients. Zach trys to use his good fortune to help out as many people as he can.

    Kids Who Care Fair
Sport news... Zach plays competitive soccer and has won many trophies and medals in national and international competition... his team, the Claremont Stars, placed 3rd in the state this year. Zach's good enough that he earned a spot on the 1995 California South Olympic Development soccer team for boys under 14. WAY TO GO ZACH! Reportedly, he also has his eye set on the 1998 or 2002 Olympic Games. In addition to his soccer prowess, Zach also plays baseball for a team called the "Yankees" in Los Angeles, where he pitches, catches and plays shortstop on occasion. Tying work with enjoyment, Zach has also filmed an instructional soccer video entitled "Let's Play Soccer" for distribution during the 1994 Soccer World Cup. He was also selected as youth spokesperson for World Cup '94 Soccer.

To top it all off, Zach is a really serious student who enjoys math and social studies. He has taken to art and creative writing as well; he likes to write kid-oriented action adventures and hopes to write a screenplay in the not too distant future. With all of this, Zach manages to maintain a very high grade-point average.

    Kids Who Care Fair
Not one for dressing up, Zach's favorite clothes are Jeans & T-Shirts... and while he's dressed in 'em he likes to scarf down pizza, or a burger and fries.

Zach, his parents and his younger sister, Ciri, are very close and like to get together for family stuff like hiking, biking and snow skiing in Colorado when Zach isn't busy with his acting career. It's rumored that TV dad Tim was giving him a hand with car-shopping for his 15th birthday... whoever helped, he's driving a totally cool Chevy Tahoe.

As with the rest of the younger cast of Home Improvement, Zach does not have his head stuck up in the clouds. He's a good actor, and he knows it... but he also knows that his fans that put him where he is, and that will keep him there. He was quoted recently as saying "Well, when you get into the business, what you have to realize is that signing autographs and getting 'bothered' is just part of the deal. It's not a bother to me at all... That's part of being an actor and that's something you have to realize before you ever get into this business... your fans are the ones who get you everywhere in the world".

Zach's musical interests include Wu Tang, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tribe Called Quest, Cypress Hill and House of Pain.

To top it all off, Zach's got a cool dog named Ozzie... Ozzie's a boxer.

Zach is now reportedly about 6' tall.

First Kid Review! by Samantha Kay

"First Kid" is about the President's son The "First Kid" and how his life is. The first day he goes to school he experiences getting picked on by Rob, (before the "First Kid", Luke, came to the school Rob had the girls and was very popular). Luke starts to like this girl in class who Rob also likes, this leads to even more rivalry between them.

The movie also stars "Sinbad" who is the "First Kid" 's Secret Service man. (OOh Boy does he do a MEAN spit ball!)

"First Kid" also has a little about Net safety stuff...

This Movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is Funny and very, very cool. In my book I give it 2 thumbs up or more if I had 'em!
